Sr. Manager of Marketing & Communications

SMV Recruiting has an awesome opportunity for a Sr. Marketing Manager. We are seeking a
strategic, result driven Manager, with strong digital experience and proven leadership skills. This
role will support my client's largest business unit and will be responsible for leading the strategic
direction for all the residential integrated marketing communications campaigns that generate
demand, elevate the brand above its competitors and strengthen customer relationships.
This individual will lead a team of people that will be held responsible for creating effective
marketing platforms for targeted strategic initiatives of the business focused around specific
target audiences; drive consistent growth and develop and implement engagement initiatives.
They will work alongside our team of internal resources as well as our external strategic partners.
This position will report to the Director of Marketing.
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or Business
Experience:
• 10-12 years of experience in marketing communications
Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
• 10-12 years of Marketing Communications experience including digital marketing
experience
• Must have strong people skills, organizational skills, presentation skills
• Ability to motivate individuals to function as a team and exceed business objectives
• Positive, enthusiastic and confident attitude
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
• Budget planning and management
• Creative thinker, strategic planner
• Collaborative, professional team player
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills including program and team management
• Confidence to effectively interact at all levels of the organization
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a high quality of work;
superb attention to detail
Primary Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of marketing communications including: develop a marketing
plan to support execution of new product launches. Includes sales team support and
external campaign. development to customers and influencers. Mediums include both
digital and traditional methods.
• Coach, develop and engage a team of direct reports, including marketing managers
and content writer.
• Developing a Marketing communications plan, including program strategy, tactics
and budget that meet or exceed established objectives.
• Manage the execution of public relations and advertising campaigns including
developing website strategy and content that will generating marketing-qualified
leads to constantly replenish the sales funnel, creating compelling multimedia content
and managing multiple social media platforms.
• Work effectively across multiple product lines to deliver a consistent, compelling
message that elevates the Legrand brand.
• Measure and analyze communication program results and implement improvements
based on analysis.
• Drive direct reports to deliver projects on time and within budget within a complex
matrix environment.
• Developing cross functional relationships to drive continued commitment of
programs that are implemented.
• Overseeing select vendor relationships to increase efficiencies and identify new
opportunities.
