Responsibilities:
- Financial statement preparation
- General ledger and bank account reconciliations
- Accounts payable, accounts receivable
- Month-end closing
- Payroll
- Budgeting, forecasting and tracking
- Calculate and report for local, regional and international awards.
- Maintain office files, including accounting files, general ledger files, associate files employee files, listing files, contract pending files, and closed contract files
- Monthly reporting of all production and accounting figures for the month to headquarters
- Responsible for processing and paying associate commissions
- Interact and build professional relationships with staff, associates, and vendors
- Purchase supplies and equipment
- Ensure the professional appearance of all physical facilities
- Coordinate the maintenance of office equipment and monitoring maintenance agreements
- Oversee Computer Hardware Specialist, Computer Software Trainer, and Internet Specialist
- Set up and maintaining all passwords on computer systems
- Delegate tasks to staff, and responsible for phones being covered
- Hire and manage receptionists an
- Understand, demonstrate and promote the company culture as it relates to agents, staff, ownership, and others.
- Assist in new agent/employee orientation and training
- Support the team in planning and running Sales Meetings
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Prior costumer service experience strongly desired (aka service industry, restaurant, sales or retail)
- Leadership experience strongly desired
- Must be computer savvy
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Positive attitude
- Strong ability to multitask and excel under pressure
