Qualifications:
- Active LPN license in DC
- 3+ years of experience
- Supervisory experience is preferred
- HS diploma
- Excellent Communication skills
- Positive attitude and outstand bedside manner
- Willingness to be of assistance where needed
- Supervise 3-5 LPN's and CNA's
- Assisted with scheduling, supervision of staff and problems as they arise
- Be the first point of contact for clients and their families
- Performs resident care according to policy/procedure and standards as delegated by the Nurse Manager, Clinical Coordinator, RN, or Charge Nurse
- Demonstrates appropriate knowledge base when performing resident care
- Provides for the emotional & physical comfort and safety of the resident, family, &/or caregiver
- Observes residents for specific signs/symptoms as instructed by NM, CC, or RN
- Observes for changes in clinical or functional status, and reports changes to NM, CC, or Supervisor in a timely manner
- Assists residents with ADLs and any special care needs as indicated by NM, CC, RN, or Charge Nurse for which they are properly educated and trained
- Recognizes and responds to emergent situations efficiently and effectively by managing self, residents, staff, and others appropriately
